Romour is riff that the feed-in-tariff will end soon, theis will not affect installations on the scheme.at best the present tariff of 21p per kW - index linked for 25 years - will run untill 3rd March 2012, after this date a lower tariff is expected.

3.84kWp Solar PV electric system would cost circa £7200 installed, producing around 3296kWh/year
assuming half used by you, the rest exported to the grid
3296kWh x 21p = £629 + 3296/2 x 3p = £791
Add saving on your electricity bill (3296 x 13p)/2 =£277
